True, True, and Unrelated.

The notion that no company is worth holding for more than two years is ludicrous. If one had purchased MSFT in 1989 and sold in 1991 with this strategy, would one be happy now? AOL bought in 1995 and sold in 1997? QCOM bought in 1997 and sold last spring? This, of course, has nothing to do with whether or not these companies can continue their exponential rise. It's just that the two year time frame is completely arbitrary and simply wrong.
