From today's Globe & Mail 1: Zi Corp. (ZIC--TSE) Tuesday, November 16, 1999 $22.95, up $5.20 Quick, name a Canadian company with a China connection. The answer of more than a few investors yesterday was Calgary-based Zi Corp. The firm specializes in language processing software, which recognizes Chinese characters typed in using a standard computer keyboard. Many of Zi's string of new contracts in China are with state-run companies and government agencies.
