More coffee... Interesting stuff, sorta on topic.... A 4W laser diode? - atcsd.neva.ru Just got around to reading the 11/16 PC Mag. On page 36 along with a picture of TRW's 69 GHz transistor out of indium phosphide (the picture caption sez indium phosphate <g>) there is an interesting blurb on a Seiko Epson polymer flat panel display. They built the display (mostly?) using an ink jet deposition process. Those ink jet printers are useful <g>. Also sez that Philips has a 6 Megapixel CCD! That way we can take up ALL our hard drives and processing power manipulating digital images <g>. I can't wait to print an active display on a transparency using my inkjet and some fancy cartridges! Here's an opportunity for us investors <g>. I'm actually not kidding. JF
