What's worse, with grain prices so low this year, who can afford seed next year? ABTX could be in for a string of bad years right along with the dwindling farmer population. It's looking like the mid '80s, when the only ones who made out were the bankruptcy lawyers and mortgage foreclosure specialists. The reason? Real interest rates are still too high.
