From a Research Report rec'd today:

Q4 is shaping up in line w/expectations. More importantly, we are encouraged by stronger than expected sales activity in hardware, which bodes well for Q1/00. Sales activity is actually trending in line with historical Q4/Q1 trends and isn't as soft as anticipated due to Y2K. Street expectations have been for hardware rev. (29% of total) to decline 15%-20% Y-Y in both Q4/99 and Q1/00. Although it's too early to adjust estimates, we're very encouraged that Y2K doesn't seem to be having a prolonged effect on demand. Confidence in rev. growth reaccelerating is boosted by the stronger pipeline and the forthcoming bus. realignment. The valuation is attractive. Reiterate RL rating.
