At COMDEX, Novell is expected to push its "Fusion" Internet-appliance directory offering." --- Ziff Immediately following his keynote address, Schmidt will host a press conference to further outline Novell's e-business solutions and announce new directory technology that will extend Novell's networking leadership across new platforms and Internet markets. The press conference will be conducted in the Venetian Hotel at 1 p.m. "I believe we will look back on this COMDEX keynote as the point in the history of networking when directory services became part of the Internet mainstream," said Dave Shirk, vice president of product marketing for Novell. "This promises to be the most entertaining presentation at COMDEX, featuring some very funny comedians, but also an important presentation for any business looking to capture the full value of e-business and the Internet."
