Hi Ken et al

CREE nd AXTI are not pure plays but may be close

CREE has doubled since we began this discussion
some few weeks ago, while AXTI has been cut in half.

CREE is betting on SeC while AXTI is into GaAs and
other compounds.

Not sure which is more cost effective and which
produces a better light!

AXTI has a patented process for producing better
wafers for some purposes

AXTI also provides solar cells for satellites and
a hiccup in that business caused some concern and
the recent drop in the price of the stock. Shipment
of about one million dollars per month were held up
for two months and have only been partially reinstated

I think the reaction was overdone. Fourth quarter
should still be positive and long run looks great!

My physics education dates back to the thirties
and after many decades.as an economist I am just
now trying to catch up with you guys so perhaps
you better do your own DD!

Lots of Luck
