The product will gain wide acceptance and they will have hard time, imo, keeping up with demand ( but that is a "good" problem) pyrogen.com go to bottom of page Testing the amazing insulating properties of a new surfactant material, "FirePower 911" This new material will be a Halon 1211 replacement agent for Lavatories and Hand held Extinguishers. FAA MPS testing is underway now on this material. This photo shows 4 oz of magnesium chips, burning on a cotton shop towel, that was treated with 10 cc of the material after mixing with water. no HEAT is felt during the burn.. and No Damage to the shop towel. Look for updates as the testing progress. UL & EPA listed and NFPA approved, Also used to clean aircraft turbines: These photos were the test engine cleaned on a crank wash, 15 minute dwell and fresh water rinse. the engine was so contaminated it took three boroscopes to get the "before" photo, and only one for the "after". Currently undergoing test to MIL PRF 87402C for Type II and Type III, as well as ready to run (RTU) specifications. It has passed the Solar Turbine specification for ground based cogeneration plants. This material will meet the new EPA storm drain run off requirements for water quality, eliminating the operations worry from flight and ramp drainage continamination and cleanup. More DD to follow
