Rick, your question mirrors many from th eRB. Here is what I posted to Trustworthy. Also I will ask Mike R and Marc R to comment on 777WINS and the ArtAuction in addition to my bon mots:
"Manny, Manny-give us something" - Well, I said to Tom this morning exactly what you said to me, Trusty. He is probably more frustrated than all of us in this QUIET PERIOD. Tom will be meeting today with Rogel to facilitate, update, etc. Of course, what they talk about falls within the "gag rule," so we won't get any info there! BTW, I guess I am allowed to convey "tone of voice," Tom sounded very, very upbeat. And, there are also some ancillary things that I can tell you about: 1. 777WINS now has its new server; Mike Reamer is the guardian of that server and checks it daily, and revenue is coming in. 2. Mike and Tom have not forgotten about Ireland. In fact, in a few months, Tom will be in Ireland...this opens up tremendous possibilities for Tom's vision of State Taxation of Lottery and Winning Wagers. 3. TheArtAuction has a new person redoing the clerical tasks; she is excellent! Her name is Angela and if you need to contact the auction, please ask for her. BTW, we still expect the floodgates to be opened to the art auction in terms of hits per day. The concept of what we have is going to be greatly expanded. This side of ECNC might surprise a lot of people...the sleeping giant. 4. VC people have contacted me as recently as yesterday, and Tom is in contact with them today. It seems people are beginning to show interest in us. 5. This week the Chicago, Philadelphia and New York presentations should wow them from the mid-West to the Big Apple.
Well, Trust, That's the best I can do, But that's not so bad. In fact, I'd say it's pretty good! IMHO -
