ole 49r, I live in British Columbia, near Vancouver and am a former commercial fisherman [ now retired ]. My respect for Mother Nature is most profound. Failure of the power grid is my NUMBER 1 concern with Y2K. It will be mid winter here, loss of power will result in untold miseries, almost inconceivable. The Canadian military has been preparing intensely for the last year [ Hmmm, I wonder why ]. Hope I'm wrong.
