I'm not sure about the previous Amersham contract and specifically whether it involved I-123. This is not the same isotope used to treat prostate concer which I belieive is I-125. I-123 is strictly a gamma photon emitter used for imaging the thyroid and cannot be used for therapy. It is usually dispensed in unit dose form using capsules prepared by the manufacturer or distributor.
