Hello old 49 er, It has been indeed a long time sence I have posted. Just wished to wish you all a happy new year and to say I concur with your prognossis of y2k. As always I have yet to learn how to spell at 53 guess i;m just to old but given my age you guess right i trust goverment NOT! So have stored my rice, potatos, beans ,tuna, and beer for the comming times of trouble . Karen calls it my y2k beer, 10 casses of what else Molsons Golden! Got my gold coins and silver coins and cash. Minning stocks and 2 tanks of oil (550 gal) good for 2-3 months of hard core vt. winter. to be fired up with an inverter and deep cycle batterys and all cars and trucks being used for gas storage about 150 gals. Also (think you will like this came here from Oregon in 1976 in my v.w. camper bus. ,Well as you know the thing never really heat (air cooled and all well i just took out the blower fan and it runs on 12 volt so i can hook it up to my fireplace were i took out the old grate and put in one that has a u shaped hollow toobs shit can't spell tubs maybe anyway it really pumps out tthe hot air via a fan hookup but the feed tube fits my old v.w. fan so we can use it on a car battery ! Also took my old lawnmore and took off the blade put a pulley on it and drilled a hole in the frount to mount an alternater upside down with the pulley connected to were the blade use to go now we got a poor mans generator. Not sure if you remember me been so long sence i last posted best wishes to all . Regards Ron Pitts
