ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 1999--J.A.B.
International Inc. (OTC BB: JABI) has worldwide mining operations in
the Central African Republic (CAR), Honduras, and Northern California.
J.A.B. International Inc. was established in 1992 for the purpose
of mining and exploring diamond and gold properties in the Central
African Republic.
JABI is in the final stages of re-engineering their Ball Mill
Plant in Northern California, JABI plans to have the plant opened by
the second week in December. When the work is completed, the plant
will be capable of processing 150 tons of ore per day.
Part of the re-engineering will include installing a
biodegradable & environmentally friendly leaching process to extract
the gold and platinum group metals.
JABI's Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Jefferson Adams
Bootes, was quoted as saying, "I'm very excited at the prospect of
getting production started. If gold prices stay where they are we are
going to have a very good year."
JABI recently announced an estimated 32 million tons of silica
sand on their Northern California property that is used in microchip
manufacturing. The Silica reserves have a gross estimated value of
over $1.4 billion.
