Multiple influences on MTST today!!

MTST came in like a lamb and left a roaring lion! Probably 50% of the float traded today (factoring in double counting of shares on the Naz).

Tow things happened. First George Gilder mentioned MTST as being the inventor of NAS. Gilder is very influential. Although he does not pick stocks, his articles generate great interest. He also invests in some of the companies he mentions, like WAVX and GBLX. He DOES NOT reocmmend MTST, he basically mentioned it in passing while discussing the broader theme of NAS.

Also, some website called "audioinvestor" touted MTST last night. Don't know much about it, purportedly it is a popular site. Throw in Comdex excitement, and you have a recipe for a rocketing stock.

Personally, I wish today's move had been more news driven, like announcement of an OEM relationship. But at least MTST is starting to draw investor attention. It is critical to get a loyal core of longs to invest in this stock. A loyal core in a small float stock keeps the shorts away. I advise everybody to buy this company in their cash accounts. It is now above $5, allowing many investors to buy on margin. This would be a mistake. We can keep the shorts away. Fortunately, most of the shares in this company are closely held, making it difficult to borrow anyways.
