my calc on QCOM was on its effect inside the NDX, not the naz composite. Donald correctly attributed this as for the "NAZ-100". Regardless, it is less accurate to say that if QCOM doubled in the NAZ it would only add 40 pts, because, if QCOM doubled, it's mkt cap as a %-age would correspondingly also increase. My calc is only valid for a point in time, but I believe is good for a rough measure.
