"Qcom to end the year 2000 at the same 700 price", this would be 2800 on the current stock.
Is there anyone else here who remotely agrees with this?
CSCO is pushing VOFDM, voice over cable. Other companies are working out voice over xDSL.
This supports the trend of more and more fiber networks with IP access via wideband wireless, providing competition to the traditional CDMA/TMDA/GSM type mobile. The IP data-phone will be able to sniff out available ports via bluetooth, VOFDM, etc. at airports, office buildings, etc, login via IP id, (instead of "telephone number"?). As optical fiber networks become able to absorb huge loads, speeds can surpass HDL?
Also for traditional mobiles, NOK, ERICY, T, SNE and many other companies continue announce products with wireless data access, this is heavy competition.
QCOM has had great growth and the future is bright, particularly away from copper/fiber infrastructures, I'm have trouble visualizing a 7 bagger compounded on the current huge move. Is the optimism based on a very fast roll out of HDR??? I need help!
