EW YORK, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Central European Internet service provider EuroWeb
International Corp. (NasdaqSC:EWEB - news) said Wednesday it will sell a controlling interest for
about $16.2 million to an unnamed West European-based international telephone company.

The buyer will pay $1.58 per share to purchase about 10.3 million newly-issued common shares,

giving it 51 percent ownership of EuroWeb.</
