Sure there is always going to be competition from all sides trying to beat Q's business model. But if you go back in history big gorillas like INTC, MSFT, and CSCO have always been competing with other chimps for their turf. I am sure that QCOM will have to do the same with their technology. Would it make you happy if there was an announcement of a three way agreement between QCOM, INTC, and MOT(or NOK) to streamline the future of wireless world. I really THINK this handset division sale announcement will surprise us all. I don't think it is going to be one of your normal sales. I think it will be a package deal that will set the standard straight and get rid of all the noise that we are hearing on a daily basis from the GSM, TDMA, and new technology fronts. (The above statements are only my thoughts nothing more) There has to be a very good reason for the high confidence of this company in splitting their stock 4 ways. Comments ? What we really need is a POWERful voice to come back and help us out in times like this. Where is he? ggamer
