You're getting carried away. The trial is a temporary annoyance that gets lots of attention because of the interesting philosophical issues it exposes. Meanwhile, MSFT's revenue stream is as sound as you will find, important new products are imminent, there are years of strong growth ahead in the industry, and their world class management team is actively adjusting the business goals for coming challenges. Buy, hold, and relax. 5 years from now you will be rich.
