I have Time Warner for cable in Palm Springs and Charter in my home. Currently neither one is offering the internet connection. One thing about the cable connection is we are unable to choose which one we want like we can with an ISP, via a telephone line. So I'm sure the race is on to see who will be getting into what area. Sarkie
