Re: Soros and Dell
That sounds good. Dell + Vrts, Jnpr, Sunw, Msft, Qcom.
I would add Aol and sit on it for a year,be very hard to beat.
Don't know parametric, tho, and I probably made mistake in selling jnpr today- forgot it was in his list.
Magellan fund ($87 bil) reduced their tech stock holdings this spring which turned out to be costly. That may have been a
a small part of the techs early problems. That is, if Magellan was sellin, perhaps the idea carried over to other funds.
And the result seemed to be forces from the dark side
dumping the the techs more or less indiscriminately regardless of
their individual performance.
Now the tide has turned and it seems that G. Soros ideas
are catching on (jnpr up 45, aol +7, vrts+11, sunw+7).
The Pied Piper?
