Unfortunately for Intel, low latency CPU functions tend to limit clock speed. Is this the case with Coppermine?>

This CuMine L2 is fascinating. My thinking was that there are enough clocks there to not limit the clock speed. Looks like you feel otherwise. Why? You don't think 256k cache access can be pipelined properly for a nice speed ramp?
