You're no help. <g> Like last time, I'm leaning towards the optimistic explanation -- that demand is outstripping projections, and that Intel really can't satisfy it. It seems like the quake/mobo situation has had its effect. Moreover, the real shortfall appears at the highest MHz grades -- remember all my questions about the 733 part? Still, the local peanut gallery (you know who you are) is right about one thing: I'm still not convinced of the semi 'recovery', not in the context of current stock prices. Wait & see, as usual. -mb
