Greetings, Alper, from my perch atop the Seattle Fault.
I'm glad to hear you are safe -- but you surely must be rattled. Such a vast need for housing, such an economic burden to a small country, so many people homeless in freezing rain -- this feels overwhelming. I hope response to the problems is happening quickly and effectively. --------
I agree with you that 2000 will be pivotal for Ligand, and that rapid, good-margin commercialization is needed to balance the ~$18 billion/qtr cash burn.
IMO, there's no way at THIS point to predict when the first profitable quarter will hit.
Assuming good news on the 13th, we may get approved, OR get an approvable letter -- which is common, and basically good news.
BUT, we all already know how much unpredictable time can pass between such a letter and approval.
So, I've put my crystal ball in storage, and am simply watching the bouncing ball.
Cheers to all those who made some nice profits with their trading portion. Between now and profitability, there will likely be other such opportunities -- and we can identify them.
