Nasdaq Main Board

As posted on the Yahoo Board, Zi apparently applied last month to be included in the coveted Nasdaq National Market. It is currently listed only in the NASDAQ Small Cap Market (SCM) for smaller, less-capitalized companies. Some funds are not alllowed to buy stocks under $5 or stocks not listed on the Nasdaq regular market.

Zi meets all of the Nasdaq National Market listing requirements, e.g., at least 1.1 million public float, minimum $5 bid price, at least 400 shareholders, 3 market makers, and corporate governance. Zi will probably be approved this month.
