Is Joel Klein interested in benefit to American citizens, or is he interested in beating Microsoft as badly as possible out of his own sense of competition? Klein, and others of his bent, are incapable of producing anything. Their goal is to control and regulate those who do produce. If they succeed, will that benefit American citizens? Time will tell. And do you want the federal government, that ultimate monopoly and paragon of efficiency, to dictate and regulate the future of technology? They'll make Gates and company look like raw amateurs when it comes to "embrace and extend".
