ALL: Re QCOM--
In case anyone is even thinking of selling your Gorilla-holder shares in Qualcomm, we should keep in mind why we bought the stock--because it is taking its place alongside the other enablers of the new paradigm. Where Cisco is enabling the IP "cloud", and Microsoft enabled the desktop, Qualcomm is central to the development of mobile wireless--and promises to be the central factor in providing "last mile" connectivity to the communications network.
And then, compare their valuations:
Sales Earnings Market Cap Shrs O/S ----- -------- ---------- -------- CSCO $12,154 $1,947 278.6 BN 3,300 MSFT 20,938 7,740 460.2 5,160 INTC 28,761 6,981 255.8 3,340 IBM 88,497 7,596 170.6 1,800
QCOM 3,937 178 58.3 160
If you believe, as I do, in the Qualcomm story--and you must, as a Gorilla investor!--then the Q remains undervalued. It is taking its place next to Cisco and Microsoft and Intel and IBM as a key player in the techology sphere, and will garner Sales and Earnings comparable to theirs.
There is substantial upside potential on QCOM!
