You may rely on me for all Heinlein trivia and arcane justifications rationalizing his place in this pantheon. In truth, I feel that there has never been a better science fiction novel than, "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress." And, I know of no other novel that I have ever found as profound in justifying and expressing my own tendencies as a rational anarchist.

As a father of a seven year old daughter and a year old son, I have since developed some real difficulties with his later works and the unlimited hedonism that he expresses as the natural companion of a perfectly libertarian society. Still, even that aspect of his writing seems prescient in anticipating our current state of affairs. Pun intended.

For those of you that are interested in reading some short excerpts of his works, I recomend that you look at a site entitled, "Quotable Heinlein," at www.vitalnet.com/heinlein/
