Juniper Networks (JNPR: news, msgs) rocketed 16 percent to 328 1/2. The Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of Internet infrastructure systems announced a 3-for-1 stock split.

This year, according to CommScan EquiDesk, the following companies have announced stocks splits: Abovenet.com (ABOV: news, msgs), BroadVision (BVSN: news, msgs), Concentric Network (CNCX: news, msgs), Covad Communications (COVD: news, msgs), InfoSpace (INSP: news, msgs), MindSpring Enterprises (MSPG: news, msgs), NetBank (NTBK: news, msgs)...ect
