NTAP CEO on CNBC a little while ago: Daniel Warmenhoven CEO [Network Appliance (NTAP)] He was interviewed by Bill Griffin. Talked about how Y2K concerns might affect year end sales, but he expected it to pick up again next year because of pent up storage demand. When Griffin pushed him on the shelf life of this product and need for upgrades, he emphasized the "appliance" aspects, that you hook it up and forget about it. Neither mentioned the Gilder article or fibre channel. George D.
