Some basic facts....

1. MM's know little or nothing about the company or the stock. AND THEY DON'T CARE! They deal strictly in #'s, so don't expect them to share your enthusiasm about the PR. or brand new revolutionary whatever the company just invented.

2. They make their money on a stock that goes up AND down, Not one or the other. Since they ultimately control the price of BB stocks that's what they do with their control. Make the price go up AND down.

3. The MM's strength lies in not just "being" a team, but "acting" like one too. They will cover each other whenever needed to maintain control. They do this by rotating position as the buyer and seller at any given time as needed and trade small blocks of shares back and forth among themselves to keep their accounts balanced.

4. USUALLY. The MM with the lowest ASK price is the one who
needs to sell some shares. The one with the Highest BID is the one who needs to buy. Those 2 at batters dictate the bid and ask at any given moment and will set those prices in their best interest at that time. They will take their turn at bat as needed, then when they've done what they needed to they'll let the next "needy" MM up to the plate.

5. When you see an MM with an unusually high/low bid/ask price it's just them sitting out their turn at a safe distance. and NO INDICATION of a future "real" price. They'll come back down/up to reality when it's their turn to bat.

6. MM's are "wholesalers" they sell/buy to the "retailers" (brokers) who sell/buy to you. A Broker will use the first MM to fill their buy/sell order then continue to use that same MM for ALL future trades out of loyalty until that MM can't or won't fill an order. Then the Broker moves to the next MM that will and so on. So in that respect they are a "slave" to the market. In all other respects; THEY ARE THE MARKET

7. The "quality" or "size" of the orders being filled by the MM's is the key to determining the direction of the stock not the "quantity" of the shares they're buying/selling. REMEMBER; It's the big block buyers/sellers that determine the run and which way it's going. All roads from the big fish lead through MM ville. Watch what the MM's are doing and that will tell you what the big fish are doing.
