LCC International, Inc. Joins Cisco and Others in Broadband Fixed Wireless Alliance; New Wireless Standard Supported
MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1999--LCC International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCCI), one of the world's largest suppliers of integrated end to end infrastructure consulting services to the wireless telecommunications industry, today announced that it has joined Cisco Systems, Inc. and nine other leading companies to develop and support open standards for broadband fixed wireless Internet services.
LCC will assist in the design and deployment of wireless Internet networks based on Cisco's Vector Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (VOFDM) technology and equipment.
C.
