Tench and Paul: I can't believe INTC is down on news of not being able to keep up with additional demand. I go to the doctors for the day and you guys let the market misinterpret the news -phew! This is all disinformation being sewn by the funds who have fallen way behind in their INTC positions. Put out the word that I am adding to my position tomorrow! How can anyone in light of the following news article derive anything but the most bullish conclusions from INTC's current position. INTC has more internal capacity than any other cpu mfr. I wouldn't be surprised if they upped their prices. When you are running flat out with the greatest capacity in the industry and can't fill the demand this puts you in a great position. siliconinvestor.com Therefore the logic is simple. AMD said they are hoping to break even = they are not going to go the cut-rate route as they probably can't meet current demand anyway. INTC will sell all they can make without having to stray downward from published prices and will have great revenues (revs.=units x price per unit). This is indeed a buying opportunity for INTC as long as AMD doesn't decide to pull an Egypt Air on this current situation which probably would not cause INTC to lower prices anyway. JFD
