Nov. 17, 1999--Loch Harris Inc.
(OTC BB:LOCH) announced today that Lucent and Loch's subsidiary
ChemTech have executed a 3 year mutually binding non disclosure
agreement today, following Dr. Henry Blair's presentation at Lucent's
international teleconference.
Rodney Boone, CEO of both Loch and ChemTech said, "Private talks
were held with Lucent specialists from a variety of semiconductor
disciplines." The conference and presentations were held at Lucent's
semiconductor processing facility in Orlando, Fla.
"This relationship will provide ChemTech with a meaningful
mechanism to explore and test a variety of opportunities for direct
application of the proprietary VAMMP semiconductor technology,"
according to ChemTech's renowned physicist, Dr. Henry Blair.
VAMMP, the multi-constituent monitor of plasma is capable of
providing precise, non-invasive monitoring of vacuum processes and
contaminants in real-time.
Boone stated, "We believe that today's discussions will result in
a long-term intellectual partnership with Lucent and Bell
Laboratories."
During Dr. Blair's presentation, he also released hard data from
last week's successful high-explosive affluent-only test of VAMMP's
sister technology for landmine identification and mapping.
Follow-up meetings with Lucent are scheduled to identify
timelines for future development and research of VAMMP. VAMMP is fully
funded and scheduled for bench tests by March 2000.
