Brian --

I tend to look for reasons all the while knowing the real reasons aren't readily apparent.

My instinct tells me that as long as the market is in a positive mood (not daily, but over-all) and as long as the sector is booming, then any changes in SDL on a daily basis are not to be feared, probably day traders getting in and out or MMs reading tea leaves on a minute-by-minute basis.

The charts I go back to over and over:

Yearly:
quicken.com

Weekly:
quicken.com

Daily:
quicken.com

If you rely solely on a daily or weekly reading, you'll probably think something's wrong as the two stocks diverge considerably on a short-term basis.

I believe today's close is a new high.
