Gerald,

I wasn't able to get to all the charts. What I did notice was that:

1. Claim #1: A method of inhibiting HIV infection in an individual...
2. Claim #2: A method of treating HIV infection in an HIV-infected individual...
3. Claim #3: A method of inhibiting HIV infection comprising contacting the HIV virus...
4. Claim #4: A method of inhibiting HIV infection binding in a blood preparation...

Each of the claims has different methods of administering the drug(I like the use of "physiologically acceptable carrier". Someone at Procept was smart to include the contraceptive gel.

I'm not certain if I agree with your conclusion that it's new information. The patent was filed in May of 1994. Were any of the charts you mentioned updates? I'm not certain that the results of 1996 are included in what you saw. Please tell me that I'm wrong.
