I think the slight weakness towards the end of the day may be option closeout related, but there was a lot of positive news today, so I'd be inclined to let them run until Friday. If the stock goes above 27.5 tomorrow, maybe sell half as many 27.5 calls as you have lower strike price.

The most positive thing today was that the K6-2P will be out before December. What would happen to AMD if HP announced K6-2P systems. It almost seems like they are liquidating their Celeron systems.

Here's another positive -- this is from firingsquad.com
on the VIA KX-133 chipset demo'd at Comdex:

It's good to see the EV6 bus paired with the AGP4X interface and PC133 SDRAM as AMD's 750 chipset supports neither of these technologies. We can't wait to experience an Athlon 700+MHz running with PC133 SDRAM and an AGP4X video card like the GeForce DDR or the upcoming Voodoo5 5500. Like the Apollo Pro133A, VIA displayed a few motherboards based on the KX133 chipset. In particular, the VIA display featured the FIC SK11, Epox EP-K7VA, and the Biostar M7MKB motherboards. In addition, we've been told that ASUS also plans on releasing a Slot A motherboard based on the KX133 chipset, although we can't confirm this. Keep in mind that like the Apollo Pro133A, we can't confirm if these are the official names of the products, but they were definitely on display at the VIA booth.
