Thanks. By your information, it would seem that ntap is a would be King, not a potential gorilla. These products will commoditize and be sold on price/performance/reliability. There doesn't seem to be much barrier to entry vis-a-vis proprietary knowledge or value chain. As each new farm is set up, the choice of server would be free. They all have to adhere to the network (presumably internet) protocol.
