Lack of Price Movement Inexplicable--But be patient
Three quarters of positive earnings, with tremendous quarter over quarter growth, so what gives?
Cornerstone, the stock, obviously is not as well known on the Street as Cornerstone the company in the tech world.
Recent post-earnings price movements, quick surges followed by quick drops, might have new investors who've watched the stock for awhile, or checked price history, a bit leery. In some ways, I'm glad the stock didn't surge up today, if it portends a steadier, sustainable growth over coming days and weeks.
I think it's worth a call to investor relations to find out what, if anything, Cornerstone the company plans to do to promote Cornerstone the stock. (Possibly nothing, as the company is buying back stock, rather than undertaking any new offerings.)
With another quarter or two of earnings, absent price growth, Cornerstone's by then ridiculously low P/E will rivet the Street's attention. Stay long. |
