But I still think you miss a fundamental point. No where in the law does it say you have to agree with the judge. The case is not over anyway until the appeals court and or the Supreme Court if necessary rules on the matter.

Since MSFT does not agree it is free to pursue avenues that it feels are in its best interest. By comparison, INTC was headed down a similar path according to the DOJ/FTC and they took care of the problem in a more private fashion. That was their perogative. I hope you are not saying that MSFT can not disagree and should roll over and accept whatever this judge says?
