Rick, Dave and Straight,
First...In regards to revenue figures, I believe Markman made reference in the C.C. to the fact that advertisers were only now just coming online with audio ads, and that future revenues would be generated as the client list grew.
Judging from the growing list of banner advertisers, and new audio ads, one can only assume that revenues will be growing in this area. I believe that it would be very hard to ascertain any viable figures without several quarters of data to build projections from...
I do think it is quite clear, however, that the Onstar partnership lends more than a little validation to the product. The natural progression would be for others to follow General Motors into the service, thus generating more revenues...and who knows... maybe General Motors followed Exite's leadership into the mytalk product. The disclaimer, as we all know, is consumer confidence and acceptance, and successful execution with the Onstar product, and the ongoing Mytalk platform.

Thanks for the continued insight Dave, Personally I think the "mobile" app for the VUI product is the one that will win over consumers, and lead to widespread acceptance. It's quite simple really... you can't read your WAP device while you are driving, and voice command dialing is such an acceptable concept it really defies description.
I know I've been castigated here for a consistently positive outlook on a company struggling to stay afloat... and I appreciate the reminders of the past business model and the failures to generate revenues while building the product... in large part facts that I was quite aware of before I made my investment decision.
I can only offer what I believe to be the future prospects for a company that has consistently led the field in the research and development of what will, most certainly, be a mainstay application in the future of the internet, technology and computers...... voice.
I've read in every prospectus that I've ever picked up..."past performance is not an indicator of future returns, and should not be viewed as such..." My question is, why should this only apply to the winners?... especially when it's only round 3 in a 12 round fight.
I think Abert Einstein said it best... " Great spirits will encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds."
I've chosen this one for the long term, and I'll take what I get. Here's to a successful future...
Very Best Regards to All,
