While we are 7 years away from any clinical trial and 5 more from any product, no time like the present to collect e-coli stories. This one from BBC Health site.

Bug found on Cornish mud flats

Tests on mud flats after an 11-year-old boy fell ill revealed the powerful
E.coli 0157 strain.

Lee Shephard, from Torpoint, Cornwall, had been playing on the flats in
the River Tamar estuary.

He has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering.

A spokesman for the local district council confirmed that the 0157 strain
had been found.

He added: "So far there is no indication of any specific source but we are
continuing to sample sewer outlets and silt from other nearby locations."
