One of the best things we can hope for is to have possibly have a PC-maker, maybe a semiconductor type company. or even a software company buy up a network oriented company like FCM/FNet. The usual, but now out-of-date profitable one event company just doesn't get these days with price slashing and fierce competition since the net came along.
Since they are, or could be (if given a network company) part of the VoIP puzzle and have the needed capital, I would look for more company's like FCM/FNet to be bought out. But that all two depends on inside-stubborness. Events that have unfolded within the last year have allowed for these types of marriages within the PC and telecommunications technologies.

Since the Internet seems hell-bent on cutting net-profits, (no pun intended), allot of these company's have no choice. Its had a profound effect on networks and their construction, and has brought down the cost of expensive phone switching technology and software. As well, pricing pressures in the PC market have forced manufacturers to look for new sources of revenue.

I would hope this is the case in the forseeable future. Lets pray Franklin is one of them and that the inside has enough "young" sense to listen and make us all money.

I think that's the best we can hope for, because I'm not overly optimistic about anything else happening. If anyone thinks $10 bucks a share is not enough, think again. : ) I remember hearing $20.00 from the inside, way off base.
