Hey there, speaking of immanentizing the eschaton, I just saw a movie I really liked, Dogma. Can't think who would be a natural audience, it's like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, only it's also got a lot of religious stuff in it, too. Ideal for people who believe, yet are able to laugh at the absurdity of existence, and the absurdity of organized religion, and don't mind profanity, vulgarity or mass murder, as long as it's funny. If you can't laugh at murder or feces, it's not for you, but if you can, it's really, really good. |
