"<Arctic ice melting is that it could, counterintuitively, lead to a new Ice Age> The real concern is that all the climate researchers in universities would have to get real jobs if they didn't have this to keep the research dollars, conference and salaries rolling in."

Agree completely. It always amazes me that the 'scientists' that preach and teach evolution and the balance of nature, are always talking up disaster and the breakdown of the ecosystems. The balance is always in flux. It also has not been determined that a 'cold' or 'hot' planet is a bad thing. It is always assumed that the best way is the way things are at the present time, and we will do anything to keep it that way! Would elaborate, but it is pretty dry.

"[Unless we wisely selected plenty of melanin in our parentage to protect us - bring on CDNA!! There'll be a monster market for CDNA. It will make CDMA look like a trivial joke]."

Not sure if CDNA will produce more melanin. Will need to find out more about CDNA. But, maybe Celera Genomics has the key (CRA). Isolation and replication of the gene in the lab will produce melanin by the ton.

Yes, the energy crisis did scare those who never realized that everything is either mass or energy, and very little in between. The problem is conversion of one to the other.

Anyway, just a few notes. Side Q-uestion, If Darwin was right, then are investors regressing to a lower primate if they are as successful as the 'stock chimp'? Maybe I could get a grant to research that one.
