October load factor 80.1% Virgin Express Announces October Traffic Results BRUSSELS, Belgium, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Virgin Express (Nasdaq: VIRGY; Brussels: VIR) reported the following traffic results for October, 1999: Revenue passenger miles in scheduled service increased 6.4% in October 1999 to 116.2 million compared to 108.8 million a year ago. Scheduled capacity increased .7% to 145.1 million ASMs vs. 144.1 million in the previous October. Passengers flown in scheduled service increased 7.1% to 247,208 in October 1999 vs. 229,554 October 1998. Load factor increased 4.6-percentage points to 80.1% from 75.5%.
