S&P Comstock: perhaps their customer service is good, but their sales staff is arrogant. Twice I have decided to escape the DBC/BMI idiocy and get the Comstock feed ... only to skip it after dealing with the comstock sales people. They consistently treated me like an idiot they wanted to hurry and get off the phone. The undertone was that I was non-commercial and not worth the time. They don't bother to follow up and largely leave you feeling like you don't want to do business with such a culture. (As opposed to DBC where you KNOW you don't want to do business.)

The last attempt of mine to just go with the best revealed that Comstock no longer will sell new "low-speed" satellite systems: they insist on installing their own server to support faster speeds. Unfortunately the dictatorial approach ruined it for me.

I suppose the thing to do is just hold your nose and get it done regardless (not irregardless <g>) of how they treat you.
