Global Election Systems Inc. appoints investor relations firm
VANCOUVER, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Global Election Systems Inc. announced today
that subject to regulatory approval, it has selected Hume, Kieran Inc., of
Toronto, as the Company's investor relations counsel.
The Company's investor relations program will focus on investor
communications and interaction with the financial community. Hume, Kieran
Inc., in addition to performing writing tasks, will also be engaged in the
routine structuring, serving and motivating of investor audiences among such
financial industry professionals as analysts, underwriters, brokers and
institutions. Additionally, the program will involve the arrangement of
visits by the management of Global Election Systems Inc. to financial
community leaders in both eastern and western Canada. This appointment
provides for a fixed monthly fee of CDN $4,500.
The principals of Hume, Kieran Inc. are Catherine D. Hume and Jon W.
Kieran, and the firm has a complement of nine full-time people. Its
predecessor, Kieran and Co. Inc., and an unincorporated business founded by
Mr. Kieran, has specialized in investor relations services to emerging
companies for more than forty years. Hume, Kieran services over twenty
companies in a broad range of industries. The majority of its clients are
listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
