Binx and Thread Here is a little more information on the "electronic dog tags", aka SanDisk Personal Information Carrier (PIC), that you mentioned in your post #8141. Altec Full Metal Card altec-computersysteme.com I'm not sure that the Full Metal Card is meant to be used the same way as the PIC, but Altec is another example of a European company using SanDisk technology. It's nice to see statements like "Fully compatible type II ATA FlashCards with memory technology in proven SanDisk quality" coming from companies other than SanDisk. It's almost as though Altec is honored to be using SanDisk IP.
