I only use limit orders for buying but sometimes sell at market when there's a strong uptick or gap up open, (like HWP this am).<g> Long ago, when I traded bond options, it was explained that market orders get priority and limit orders get put in the stack (FIFO). Don't know how electronically traded options or equity orders are processed though. But enjoying learning. <g> Cheers, Lee Re: trying to sell 100 dell 42.5 @ 1/8...any takers for a one day play? Nope, sold Feb 42.5 covered calls several weeks ago and closed those out yesterday.<g>
